Join us for a weekend of Kyudo Practice at DDL with Max Baltin (Guest Senior student from Germany) and Sam West. Experienced Kyudo students will be able to practice long-distance shooting. They are welcome to join for one day or the whole weekend. New students will be instructed in the form and view of Kyudo and may be able to take their first shot on Sunday. The Kalapa Study Group invites you to a year of free online lectures featuring professional artists who have dedicated themselves to the pursuit of mastery in the contemplative arts, placing them at the core of both their artistic practice and their spiritual journey. We will survey Japanese disciplines such as Ikebana (flowers), Kyudo (archery), Bugaku (dance), calligraphy, as well as contemporary western arts such as theatre, dance, music, poetry, film, design and photography.
