Finding Your Stillpoint and Craniosacral Techniques for Your Body, Mind and Spine
with Robert Harris
September 11 - 13, 2026
“The therapist gently follows the body and begins unwinding or unravelling the constrained pain or dysfunction… the release can follow its unique journey answering the needs of the body, mind, and spirit.”
– Alix McLaughlin & Robert Harris
Stillness is not withdrawal. It is a return to the body’s natural intelligence.
Robert F. Harris, Canada’s leading teacher of Craniosacral Therapy (CST), will introduce participants to the direct experience of the “stillpoint.” A stillpoint is a gentle craniosacral technique that interrupts habitual tension and allows the restorative nervous system to come forward naturally.
In ordinary life, the body becomes overextended. We push, tighten, speed up, and disconnect from ourselves. Strain, exhaustion, anxiety, insomnia, and subtle forms of holding can begin to feel normal.
This retreat approaches healing differently. Rather than forcing change, we learn how to create the conditions for release. Through gentle craniosacral methods, therapeutic stillpoints, and practical self-care tools, participants will discover states of rest, balance, and reorganization.
The workshop includes hands-on instruction, spinal and thoracic release exercises, and methods for working with the neck, lower back, and nervous system. Participants will also learn how to work with Becalm Balls and BackBalls as supports for ongoing practice at home.
