Midsummer’s Day is an opportunity for families and friends in Shambhala to enjoy summer fun together. We welcome everyone – children, families, friends – to join us for the Shambhala celebration of the summer solstice.
3:00 pm Lhasang
Sunday’s solstice celebration begins with a lhasang (a traditional offering of juniper smoke) that purifies the environment and empowers the space, the objects, and the beings within it by invoking awakened energy.
3:30 pm Music and socializing begins
Aimless wandering to Denma Ling’s drala spots!
4:30 pm Potluck Picnic – bring your favourite summer dish to add to our BBQ offerings
7:30 pm A campfire under the stars
