“When we drop all of our painful effort to attain something, then suddenly there is spaciousness in our consciousness, a sense of being unobstructed, and we are able to enjoy life as it comes.”

    – Anam Thubten

Anam Thubten Rinpoiche visited Halifax for the first time this October and gave an excellent introduction to Jigme Lingpa’s profound Aspiration of the Ground, Path, and Fruition of the dzogchen tradition. Many of us attended his teachings and were very moved by his direct, intimate, and relaxed style of communication.

Please join us to see and hear selections from his teachings and dive into the vast meaning of the root verses and Rinpoche’s commentary from his book Citadel of Awareness.  We will use the tried and true contemplative method of group study to explore and discuss the depth of this root text and its commentary.

Rinpoche has recommended that we study this text in preparation for his upcoming 5-day residential retreat July 22-27 at Dorje Denma Ling. At the retreat, he plans to will lead us in meditations and teachings on The Sharp Vajra of Awareness Tantra, from his latest book Voice of the Primordial Buddha.

Recommended that you get the book: Citadel of Awareness by Anam Thubten
