(Online) ANNOUNCING: Study Groups for Scorpion Seal Practitioners

As a follow-up to the Cycle of the Black Ashe program, Dorje Denma Ling has invited Christie Cashman to meet with practitioners on the Scorpion Seal path to guide them through a series of topics that would help deepen their practice and study. We are delighted that she has accepted. She recommends meeting in small study groups, allowing participants to learn from each other and uncover the essence of the topics together.

The study will focus on the powerful formless meditation practice described on page 57 of the primary Scorpion Seal terma text. It is the moving passage that begins: “Whatever thoughts arise….” To respectfully contemplate these lines, the groups would meet six times.

If you are interested in taking part in an online study group with Christie this Spring, you can register here. The sessions will meet on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, every other week, for a couple of hours. Short readings from a variety of texts will be recommended.

We anticipate that these groups will fill up quickly, as they are limited to fifteen people each. Spaces will be offered on a first-come-first-served basis.  Early registrations will have first choice of dates. Late registrations will be put on a waiting list automatically by our registration software, and another group may be added if there is sufficient need.

Dates are as follows:

• Tuesday Mornings: 9:00 to 11:00 am Atlantic
  (March 30, April 13, April 27, May 11, May 25, and June 15)
• Wednesday Mornings: 9:00 to 11:00 am Atlantic
  (March 31, April 14, April 28, May 12, May 26, and June 16)
• Thursday Mornings: 10:00 to 12:00 am Atlantic
  (April 1, April 15, April 29, May 13, May 27, and June 17)

This invitation is being extended personally to Scorpion Seal practitioners only in the Atlantic Provinces, and will not be publicly listed on Dorje Denma Ling’s programs web page. Therefore, please save this email for future reference: it is your only access to the registration link.

The price for each six-week study group is $149. You will have the option to make three instalments if you prefer: a deposit of $50 upon registration to hold your place; $50 mid-February, and $49 due two weeks before your group start-date.
