When asked what is the most effective way to transform your life -writer, philosopher and humanist Aldous Huxley said: “Just be a little kinder.”

One of the essential teachings of renowned meditation master and founder of Shambhala, Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, is: “Be kind.”

When asked about his religion, the Dali Lama replied: “My religion is kindness.”

Great minds, simple instructions — but have we really looked deeply into the meaning of kindness? Is it a social nicety that helps us get along with one another, or something more? And what does it mean to talk about the “power” of kindness?

Together we will discover the transformative power of kindness, and the way we can bring that power into our daily life. This retreat is open to everyone; no prior experience with meditation is necessary.

The program begins at 6pm on Friday Aug 18th with an evening meal and ends around 5pm on Sunday Aug 20th.  Registration is on Friday from 4pm to 6pm.

Tuition fee is $250 with an early bird $50 discount if you register by June 30th.

Accommodation fees are in the range from $25 per night tent double occupancy to $90 per night single room occupancy.

Participants who wish to stay off-land pay tuition, plus a $20 per diem, for use of our facilities.
