This practice retreat is open to anyone who has completed Warriors Assembly or done Shambhala ngöndro. It is available here as a residential program for those eligible to travel, as well as online for those who need to shelter at home.

Please Note: Full participation either in-person or online is required.

This is an open invitation to join a four-day regional Werma Assembly. Focused on the Werma Sadhana, this assembly is an opportunity to enter further or refresh a connection to the Shambhala terma and Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche’s teaching streams. Join us for this reunion of warriors to celebrate together, find healing in community, deepen our practice, and receive instruction on the Werma Sadhana in a retreat setting.

The terma of Trungpa Rinpoche is precious and the inspiration of this program is to support it taking root in a variety of ways. As we create additional gateways to connect to these terma teachings, more students can benefit from this medicine that is intended to support warriors in these intense and uncertain times.

Our wish for this program is to create a fresh ground of inspiration and connection that can help us find a way forward on our paths, together and alone. We wholeheartedly invite dharma brothers and sisters from across the community who feel a connection with Shambhala to join us for this precious opportunity to practice and study together.

Who Should Attend

This program is open to those who have already received the Werma Sadhana and to those who have fulfilled preliminary requirements (Warriors Assembly or Shambhala ngöndro) and wish to receive the Werma Sadhana and transmissions. If you are missing the prerequisites listed but wish to be considered to receive the Werma Sadhana, please contact Katherine at katherinemunro33@gmail.com and explain the circumstances for your supplication.

The situation with COVID-19 in Nova Scotia is complex and emerging. We are working with a variety of scenarios to ensure this program can happen, on the land, in small groups or on-line as Provincial Public Health guidelines permit.

In addition, we cannot accept visitors from outside of the “approved regions” specified by the Nova Scotia Government. Please check the current Travel Guidelines on our homepage before registering.
