Vajrayogini Weekend of Magnetizing 2023
with Mark Nowakowski and Karen Porterfield
May 12 - 14, 2023
Join Vajrayogini around the hearth to magnetize all good things for yourself and for Dorje Denma Ling.
Open to Vajrayogini sadhakas who have completed an Amending Fire Offering, this is a rare opportunity to engage in fire-offering practice for a weekend.
Fifteen years ago, Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche gave us his blessing and permission to do this practice as a “rite-of-aid” for Dorje Denma Ling, Shambhala, and the entire world, and we have been doing so twice a year: Magnetizing in the spring, and Enriching in the fall.
For Magnetizing, we are attracting and gathering all good things, especially magnetizing the awake relationship between dharma teachers and students. This is a chance to deepen our practice, where everyone participates in the leadership roles of loppön, umdze, and chöpön. Please join us in this budding spring season for a powerful weekend practice.

Covid Considerations
Please note that we have recently updated DDL’s Covid-19 Policy. The revised policy in effect for Vajrayogini Weekend is set out below. We ask you to please comply with these guidelines. We aim to ensure our faculty and all guests feel relaxed and protected. However, we cannot guarantee you will not be exposed during your visit.
- Monitor yourself: please don’t come if you have symptoms resembling COVID or if you are generally unwell in any way.
- In the coming days before your arrival, please be careful about limiting your exposure. Avoid indoor and outdoor crowded spaces if possible. If that is not possible, wear an N95 mask. Note: If you know you have been exposed to COVID within 5 days of arrival, we ask that you cancel your visit. We will give you a full refund.
- Take a rapid test upon arrival. Please bring a test for yourself and as many extra tests as possible for donation. We very much appreciate donated tests, which we will keep on the land in case of need.
- Local guests who develop symptoms while on the land will be asked to leave. Otherwise, we will provide a space for you to isolate from others.
