Robyn Traill

Robyn Traill has been directing Shambhala Training programs for more than thirty years, with an emphasis on teaching to teens and young people. He is a film composer and musician who now teaches wind orchestra in Junior High school. Robyn teaching style can be described as “experiential learning”, as he uses movement, visualization, interactivity and theatre techniques. Robyn has studied meditation from a number of traditions and brings all of those metaphors, examples and symbols to his teaching so that new meditators can find touchstones that genuinely resonate for themselves.
